Who says work or study has to be boring? With JBL earbuds, you can add some excitement to your routine and enjoy wireless audio while you're at it. Whether you're jamming to your favorite tunes or taking important calls, our guide will show you how to connect your JBL earbuds to laptop in no time.

How to Connect JBL Earbuds to Laptop?

Ensure your JBL earbuds are charged

Plug the included charging cable into your laptop's USB port and connect the other end to the charging jack on your earbuds case. Charge for at least 2 hours before first use to allow the earbuds to reach full capacity.

Turn on Bluetooth on your laptop

Open the Start menu and select the Bluetooth option to turn Bluetooth on. Your laptop will scan for available Bluetooth devices. This may take a minute to complete.

Put your JBL earbuds into pairing mode

Press and hold the multifunction button on your earbuds until the LED indicator light starts rapidly flashing. This indicates the earbuds have entered pairing mode and are ready to connect to a device.

Pair your JBL earbuds to the laptop

In the list of Bluetooth devices found on your laptop, select the name of your JBL earbuds. The name will start with "JBL" followed by a series of numbers like "JBL385BT".

Pair your JBL earbuds to the laptop

Enter the passkey to pair the devices

When prompted on your laptop, enter the passkey displayed on the earbuds packaging or sticker. The passkey is typically 0000 or 1234. If a passkey is not shown, the default code is also usually 0000.

Your JBL earbuds will now pair and connect automatically

Once the passkey is entered correctly, your earbuds and laptop will pair. The earbuds indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating a stable connection has been established.

Adjust the volume and toggle noise cancellation as needed.

Double click either earbud to increase/decrease volume. Press and hold either earbud for 3 seconds to turn noise cancellation on/off. Test different levels to find the setting most comfortable for you.

Disconnect or unpair devices when not in use.

To disconnect paired devices, go to the Bluetooth menu on your laptop and select the earbuds name. Then select "Forget device" or "Remove device" to unpair them when the connection is no longer needed.
